One Month Remains to Submit Cravers Hall of Fame Entries
COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- White Castle has issued a last-call for entries for the annual Cravers Hall of Fame Contest. The deadline for entries is July 31, 2012, and Cravers have just one month left to submit original stories about why White Castle is meaningful to them and the extreme lengths to which they will go to satisfy their cravings. Winning Cravers are invited to Columbus, Ohio to attend the Hall of Fame induction ceremony in October.
'We want to recognize the ultimate Cravers and the extremes they go to satisfy their Crave. The Hall of Fame is the ideal way to acknowledge the accomplishments of Cravers,' said Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle. 'The level of devotion evident in entries seems more intense each and every year, but the team at White Castle and our panel of judges are eager to read all the story submissions, ranging from sentimental to silly and heartwarming to funny.'
Cravers can submit original stories about their relationship with White Castle and why White Castle is meaningful to them at http://www.whitecastle.com/cravers/hall-of-fame/new. Stories are evaluated for originality, duration and extent of the 'Crave.' Official rules are available at www.whitecastle.com/cravers/hall-of-fame-rules.

Fondly known as Cravers, White Castle fans are known for their dedication to the Original Slider® and their love of White Castle. The Hall of Fame was created in 2001, and since that time nearly 8,000 Cravers have vied for the honor, but only 136 have been inducted, including honorary Cravers Kal Penn, John Cho, rock musicians The Smithereens, and even a Greek Orthodox priest who satisfied his crave after a 40-day religious fast. All inductees are preserved in the Hall of Fame section of the White Castle website.
